THE FOLLY, SETTLE
MUSEUM OF NORTH CRAVEN LIFE
Watery Settle Walk
Friday, 11 June, 2010, 2 pm-5 pm

Enjoy an easy guided walk round some of Settle's watery sites, led by professional photographer, Veronica Caperon and learn how to take better pictures.

The afternoon features:

  • an introduction to taking better photographs
  • a 2-mile walk round some of Settle's watery landmarks, past and present
  • a review of the photos taken during the afternoon
  • a small display of historic photos and documentary material in The Folly
  • tea/coffee and biscuits
Please bring your camera and download lead if you have one. You will need to wear strong shoes and bring waterproofs. Part of the route is across open fields with some stiles. If it is a hot sunny day, sun cream, water, a hat and sunglasses are advised.
Meet at The Folly, Victoria Street, Settle, BD24 9EY

Advance booking is essential, since numbers are limited. Tickets cost £10 and are available by ringing 015242 51388
