- Nov.16. 'Felting for Christmas' A workshop with Vicky Mulligan, 10.00 -
4.00 in the Folly. Cost £25.00 incudes materials, tea and coffee. Tickets

Sheep to Shawl Day: Tues 30 June 2009
The St John's Hall Tuesday textile group had a go at producing something useful
in just one day - carding and spinning fleece and then knitting it into squares.
This is how they got on:
The 'indicator' showing where we started at 10 am - with 3 washed fleeces.
Sandra using a drum carder to comb the wool for spinning.
A visitor learning to spin.
3 knitters making 'magic squares'.

4pm - finished! We made 48 'magic squares' and had more carded and spun left over. Next time we need more knitters!
